(1) If someone is forced into labor, the labor court may punish such person with imprisonment up to two years or a fine of up to five lakh rupees, or both, and require such person to pay twice the amount of the worker's wages, allowances and benefits, including hajran.
(2) In the event of the death or dismemberment of a person due to willful or negligent violation of the provisions related to occupational safety and health mentioned in the rules made under this Act, or if an occupational disease is contracted while doing or not doing any work, the death of a person or the loss of a limb or a person If there is an adverse effect on the physical or mental condition of the person who does such an act, if there is any punishment in the prevailing law, the labor court may imprison the person for two years and pay reasonable compensation to the affected person.
(3) If any offense punishable under this Act is committed by any organized organization, the executive head of the organization shall be imprisoned if the organization is punished for such offense.
